Commemorative magnets honoring famous local Art Deco landmarks

DAADS is excited to announce a brand new product: commemorative magnets honoring famous local Art Deco landmarks!

This year’s magnet honors Detroit’s 1936 Elwood Bar. This favorite restaurant of sports and architecture fans alike stands at the corner of Adams and Brush Streets opposite Comerica Park and Ford Field. It also represents a preservation success for the city when moved from its namesake corner of Woodward and Elisabeth Streets in 1997.

Its stunning exterior of stainless steel and enameled metal panels embodies the work of Architect Charles Noble and Art Deco’s legacy of influence on local restaurants and bars.

Now, YOU can own your own replica of this iconic eatery! These magnets are durably 3-D printed, carefully painted, and laser-etched with hardwood backers. They’ll look great on your fridge, microwave, or Youngstown steel cabinets

Magnets retail for $20. $25.00 includes shipping and handling. They can be purchased in person at DAADS events and are now available at our online Facebook and Instagram shops.
