The Home and Studio is not handicap accessible and cannot accommodate wheelchairs or scooters, guests can use other walking tools such as canes and walkers.
Not to be missed is Dow Gardens. Originally established in 1899, as a home for Herbert H. and Grace A. Dow and family, the 110-acre Dow Gardens now welcomes thousands of guests per year. Dow’s creative concepts inspired dozens of other architects, including Jackson Hallett A.I.A, Glenn Beach A.I.A., Robert Schwartz A.I.A, and Francis “Red” Warner A.I.A. These gifted architects and more, also created beautifully crafted Mid-Century Modern structures that are an integral part of the over 400 buildings that dominate Midland.
