Since 1986, The Detroit Area Art Deco Society has provided it’s members group tours, educational programs and lectures concerning Art Deco collectibles and architecture in the Detroit metropolitan area.
With your help, we are able to host events such as lectures and book signing by local authors, support special one-time events such as the symposium held at Cranbrook, Michigan Modern: Design that Shaped America, and to continuously support a student at Eastern Michigan University through our scholarship program.
Member benefits include:
DAADS Annual Dinner
The social event of the year is the annual dinner, held each fall. Fine dining, great conversation and presentation of period items combine to make the evening unique. As an DAADS member, you enjoy discounted reservations for this gala event.
The Michigan Moderism Exposition
One of the premiere Expositions in the country, held each April at the Southfield Pavillion, it features dozens of dealers in original Art Deco, Art Moderne & Mid-Century Modern collectibles.
Our magazine … as well as give you the latest information on historical buildings and period items.
The Modern Mini
Our email newsletter will keep you up to date on all the area’s upcoming Art Deco events throughout the year.
